Greyzed Theme – changing post area
-
I am trying to change the post area (white notebook looking area) of the blog. I am looking at the examples given to me: http://natnaiel.com/ and http://rafaelalburquerque.com/ . I understand that they did a lot more than just change the post area, and that the post area is a picture (I think)..but how can I go about making some changes to the colors/post area? I did change the post area to all black when I was playing around with it, but the bottom of the “white notebook” was still showing, as if it was a separate graphic. Any help in customizing my Greyzed theme…? Thanks!

In the examples you posted, they setup background images on some of the main page elements to get the effects you’re seeing. For example the http://natnaiel.com/ site is using this image as the background for the #wrapper selector:
http://natnaiel.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/bg.jpgI see that you’ve switched to the Liquorice theme. To change the background color for the main content column in the Liquorice theme, add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:
#primary-content { background: #fff; padding: 1em; border-radius: 6px; margin-top: 60px; }
