Greyzed Theme Issues with Links

    I’ve started up another blog with the Greyzed page theme and have noticed an error with adding links.

    Adding the name and website address is fine, but when you add the description – which is suppose to be shown on rollover or optionally below the link – it actually shows up directly next to the blog name. I’m just leaving the description blank for now, but is there any way to fix this?

    Would it be possible for you to add a description to at least one of your links?

    I would advise you to do that, then contact Support directly because it sounds like a bug in the theme and volunteers can’t do anything about backend fixes. But doing that and contacting them with as many details as you can would be the way to fix the issue.

    @natinanorton, if you are talking about in the links widget, go to appearance > widgets, and click on the right end of the links widget to open it and make sure that “Show Link Description” is not selected and then click “save and then “close.” That should take care of it for you.

    @1tess, Oops, should’ve left an example of what I was actually talking about on the page. ;-)

    @thesacredpath, Brilliant man! My other blog template didn’t have that option so once I set up the widget, I never went back into it once I started adding links through the main dashboard.

    Fixes my problem, but still a bug so I’ll notify support.

    scaredpath’s tip is great for making it less messy, but is there not a way with this theme to show the description beneath the link instead of just in the mouse pointer?

    @joolsstone: I’ve contacted support about this issue and they’re apparently looking into the problem now. The link is suppose to appear on roll over or below the link, and it’s doing neither at the moment. Hopefully they’re able to sort out this bug.
