Grid layout page without list in menu
-
Hi,
I would like to remove list from menu Recipes. My parent page uses layour grid, but everytime I link pages to it, the name of daughter pages is automatically added as list to parent page.
How can I create grid page with daughter page without additional info in menu?
Thanks in advance for help!
The page is currently private.

Hi!
If I understand you correctly, you’re looking to remove your categories (including “Recipe) from your sidebar here:
Is that correct? If so, you will just need to remove the Categories widget from your Widgets page here:

If I completely misunderstood your request, please let me know! I’m happy to troubleshoot with a bit more information.

Hello !
Not exactly ;) I’m working undernew page. It is called The Corpo Yogini, but it is private at the moment. I use Motif there.
In this theme there is a grid layout for page. I called it Recipes. Every time I’m adding a daughter page to it , those daughter pages appear as sub-menues on parent page and as summary on grid page.
A summery on grid page is ok for me, but I want to remove thos sub-menus and don’t know how….Please let me know if there are more questions.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. When you create a new page, it’s automatically added to your main menu. Daughter pages are automatically nestled in the main menu under their parent. However, you can remove the daughter pages by creating your own custom menu as described here:
Then, you can add only the pages you want to see and leave the rest out.
Can you give that a try and let me know if it works for what you’re looking for?
