Grid page images/page featured image

  I am using the Sela theme and have the custom CSS upgrade.

  I am setting up a grid page. The featured image on the child page is extremely large when viewing on a PC. If I try to alter the featured image to look better on the child page, it changes in the grid page.

  I want to set a featured image on the child page so it shows up on the grid page, but is there a way to make it un-viewable on the child page?

  Or is there a better way to do this?
