Grid-style theme may be switching images between posts?

  Hello. I am using the Fontfolio theme on my blog https://daedalarum.wordpress.com/. Several of my images are being replaced by other images on the grid in my front page — if I click on a post title or image I am directed to the post with that name, and the post itself shows the proper image, but on the grid at the front page several of the images being shown are from other posts.
  I have tried force refresh (control + F5), cleared my browser cache, tried alternated browsers and visiting the blog from a computer that has never been at this blog before. Is there anything else I could try, or maybe there is an issue with the Fontfolio theme?

  Just spot checking some of the homepage links, they all seem to be directing to the right posts with corresponding images. Can you give a specific example of one on the home page that is showing an image from an incorrect post?

  Okay I see what you mean. So, on each of those posts, did you set a featured image?

  No, not on these cases listed above. There were other posts that were showing up at the grid with the wrong image and the problem was fixed when I set a featured image for each of those posts.
  But should one have to set up a featured image in a post with only one picture? Before changing to the Fontfolio theme, I only set a featured image in posts that had more than one picture and I wanted a particular one of them to show in a post summary.

  I’m thinking the code in the theme specifically looks for the featured image, which is separate from any images embedded in your post. If that’s true, when the featured image doesn’t exist, it doesn’t default to the post image at all. It picks a different featured image. But I’m just guessing. This is definitely a theme question you could ask in the Theme forum.
