Gridiculous Pro: Removed widget from sidebar but it still shows up

  Hi, all…

  After messing around with some design ideas, I realize I’d like a clear First Sidebar area, no widgets. When I look at the First Sidebar in the Customize section it looks like there aren’t any there. So far, so good. But when I go to the actual page, a Meta widget is there, and I can’t remove it.

  This theme displays Meta links if no widgets are placed in the First Sidebar area.

  To hide it, you can add this custom CSS:

  #secondary {
   display: none;
  }
