gridspace theme changes- horizontal title line colour, hide words and username

Hi all,
I am currently customising a gridspace wordpress theme for this site – http://www.modernartprojects.org
I would like to change the colour and thickness of the horizontal line under page and post titles. It is currently dark grey.
I have also been trying to find a way to hide:
– the words ‘Author Archives’ from this page- http://www.modernartprojects.org/author/infomodernartprojects-org/
– the link to the author of posts and portfolios on feature images in category/portfolio pages as above.
Any help would be much appreciated, I am new to CSS and finding these forums a great way to learn.

Glad you’re learning a lot here! These support forums are actually for sites hosted here on WordPress.com, but it looks like you’re running a self-hosted site, with the theme purchased directly from Graph Paper Press.
