Group blog?

A group of us would like to contribute to the same blog on an equal footing. Is this possible and any if so, suggestions please?

You have not provided the complete url starting with http:// for the blog to which you refer so I cannot verify that it is actually a wordpress.COM blog that you are referring to. I’m assuming it is. The links I post below apply to wordpress.COM blogs only.
Yes, you can have a free hosted wordpress.COM blog with multiple users. Providing all user “with equal footing” will present a problem as that means any and all of the members can delete all others members, all contents in the blog, and the blog itself. Therefore equal roles are NOT recommended.

Thanks for that. No link because this is research, no blog made yet. It would be a wordpress though, because the group are all familiar with the format. It occurs to me though, that if a group had a member who thought that kind of action was okay then the blog probably shouldn’t exist anyway. Even with one admin, or many, blogging is about trust on a really basic level. I appreciate the help!
