Growing followers

I am wanting to grow my viewers of my blog. Right now, I think it is only visible on my website, even the ones that I make public. What do I need to do to make changes so that I begin to build followers? Where is it seen?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are really asking about //prairiegem.wordpress.com/ – there is no reason for anyone to follow that blog – there is no content on it – OK – one Post and the rest are password protected –
no content = no search traffic = no followers – – why should anyone follow a blog when they can’t see what it is about?

It might be helpful for you to make a list of the type of followers you want to sort of define your audience, and then take a look at what kind of articles those particular readers are looking for.
Interesting content, steady posting, and accurate tags and categories are good ways to build content over time. As you build up your articles, those that are public will eventually be indexed by search engines which may lead to followers.
Following, participating and commenting on other blogs related to your subject is a great way to build your online community presence as well. You might even find other blog authors in the same niche that you could exchange guest posts with to generate some targeted traffic.

Post more than a photo and short text. You’re right, people are looking for a lot more. The internet is purely give-to-get. The more you give the internet, the more it gives you.
