Guestbook in a widget

HOLA!
I’m setting up WordPress.com blog and would really like to have discussions in a widget. I’m looking for something that enables fast and snappy discussions like on Facebook.
My first idea was to use the comments widget and link that to a page comments but that doesn’t enable users to reply in the widget.
My second idea was to find a guestbook widget but I found that there were none available on WordPress.com. There are some for self hosted WordPress sites.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

Howdy!
Since the primary thing we’re going for here is quick interaction through the Widget, not having to link to another post or page, I’d recommend the Tlk.io widget:
It’s like a mini chat room in your sidebar. You’ll need to setup the channel on Tlk.io first, then place the widget on your WordPress.com site. Step-by-step setup is in that link. :)

It is by far the best solution that I’ve found so far! Thanks!
My only concern is that it feels like a chat and not a discussion thread. (Like the threads on Facebook.) But it might work.
Strange that there aren’t any discussion widgets that works the way I need. I thought this would be really easy to find but most of the widgets only displays recent comments. They don’t offer commenting.
If you find any other solutions. For WordPress.com (or WordPress.org) please tell!

Hi Ola,
Yeah that widget is most certainly a chat room and not perfect. However, that’s the best option we have right now on WordPress.com for allowing reader to actually enter new content into a Widget, not into a comment section for a particular post.
On WordPress.org — you could perhaps customize a feature like this yourself using BuddyPress?
