Guided Transfer

  Hello

  I’m considering having a guided transfer. Does anyone know if my blog will still be active will this happens? And also will they transfer my template as it was free and included all my CSS changes to it? It took me ages to sort so can’t bare redoing it all!

  Yes, your blog here will still be active unless you set it to Private or something, which is a good idea.

  The template does NOT transfer. Not all themes here have counterparts for WordPress.ORG, so do your research. Mind you, there are literally thousands of themes for WP.org.

  I just checked on WP.org and paperpunch is on there too. So would it just be a case of selecting that one again and it should all just look the same again?

  I wanted to make sure it was active so if the transfer is happening people wont be redirected to the new page if it isn’t finished!

  It’s not QUITE as smooth as that, but there should be only minor tweaks you’ll have to make.
