guided transfer

  I have a wordpress.com blog, and a website (hosted with SBI) I would like to start a wordpress.org blog, with the content from the SBI website (I understand I’d do this manually myself) and then I’d be interested in a guided transfer to merge the new wordpress.org blog with my old wordpress.com blog leaving me with a bigger website/blog with wordpress.org. Will the guided transfer do a merge?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The Guided Transfer is only available for the three recommended hosts: BlueHost, HostGator and DreamHost. Any other hosting company is not supported.

  Will the guided transfer do a merge?

  no – the Guided transfer is to transfer and set up a WordPress.COM blog on their preferred host (each host is a bit different so the fewer host options the easier it is for the staff to make the transfer cost effective) –

  I really doubt they would merge two blogs (or web sites) for you
