Guided Transfer

Hello,
I am thinking about taking my blog one step further, but I need to know about a detail of one of your offered features – the GUIDED TRANSFER. I already got some information, but some things are still unclear:
1) Will the media database (e.g. the pictures) also be taken over ?
2) What happens to any pictures or links wihtin the ‘old’ posts that still direct to the old adress ?
3) What if I would want a host that supports a .de domain (seems like your recommended hosts don’t do that), is there any chance to get some support on that ?Greetings and thanks.

Your Media Files are attachments and yes they will be imported into your new site by Staff. The only hosts that can be used are here http://get.wp.com/hosting/ More details are at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/ and I also I tagged this thread for a Staff response. Hi there,
While some hosts may not sell .de domains, you can usually host those domains on their hosting. You may want to contact them to make sure however. Unfortunately we cannot do a guided transfer to any other host than the ones which are mentioned on the link which @timethief provided.
In regard to question 2, I’m not sure I completely understand the question. Any and all media which is currently uploaded to your WordPress.com site will be transferred over to your new site. If you have media which is hosted elsewhere, that won’t be transferred, but the links referencing that media won’t be changed either so it should still work as normal.
