Guided Transfer

  Hello,

  I was reading through the guided tranfer info and read that premium themes will not tranfer. What if the theme is from 3rd party such as Woo Themes?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org run on different software. If the theme by Woo themes has been coded to run on WordPress.com software and offered here as a premium theme then it cannot be transferred and run on a WordPress.org install.

  I purchased a premium theme at WordPress.com. Will it be transferred?

  If you are adept at WordPress blogging then you hire a web host and set up a WordPress.org install, install a theme and plugins, and export and import you content and links yourself.

  You will need to purchase the theme again directly from Woo Themes if you move to a WordPress.org blog, but you do have a 30-day refund period here (just in case you’re still within that window).
