How do I get help with my guided transfer? I bought the package and then was told to do some things which I did, but I am not sure I did them right, namely the DNS update. I keep emailing (email visible only to moderators and staff) but am not getting any help! My problem is that I cant upload a premium theme that I bought from studio press. The option to upload a theme isnt showing on my dashboard under appearance-themes. As a matter of fact, when I go to my dashboard it takes me back to my old, .wordpress.com site.

You need to email the same Staff member who contacted you for the guided transfer. Posting here will not achieve that.

I’ve done that a bunch of times. I think it is a generic email address. I guess the 2 weeks of free support goes quickly when it takes 2 days to answer an email. Ugghhh, doesn’t anybody pick up the phone anymore.

I’d be happy to answer your WordPress.COM questions right here in this thread. This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here and we Volunteers do not provide support by email.
Volunteers answer most questions posted into forum threads and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.
Though some bloggers think their questions are unique and require Staff intervention it’s my experience based on answering over 72,000 support forum questions here for years longer since most Staff have been on staff is that just isn’t so. Seeing a question posted into a thread here that has never been asked before is a rare event indeed. Please just simply and clearly state exactly what you need help with please.
Bottom line: We do NOT provide any support for any sites that are not being free hosted by WordPress.COM. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

I purchased the guided transfer to move it to a self hosted site
I purchased a domain from Go Daddy
My new site is http://www.letsgetinshapetogether.com
The instructions from the guided transfer had be buy a package from Vault Press then purchase a site redirect from wordpress, which I did
The site redirect asked me to update my dns. I did that to what it said
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com
BUT was this correct or should it have ben something else?
My site seems to be pointing back to the old .wordpress.com site -
letsgetinshapetogether.com is set as the primary domain for graceyb.wordpress.com
You need to redirect the nameservers to your self hosted site. If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

Thanks, I called Go Daddy and they had me change them to their name servers
Its funny my blog which is hosted on go daddy is now saying:Almost done. Before WordPress.com Connect can finish activating, you’ll need to register your website as an application on WordPress.com
This is what happened before when I followed these directions and pointed it back to WordPress
