  When does using Gutenberg become compulsory rather than the classic editor please?

  Hi @teaandcakeforthesoul, can you confirm whether you’re referring to a site here on our servers, or whether you’re using your own installation? If you’re referring to your own installation, this thread from the .org forums may help.

  If you’re referring to the site you’ve listed, I wasn’t able to find any exact dates for how long we’ll support it on our servers.

  Personally I’d encourage you to use the Block Editor now, if you can, and send us details on any problems or pain points you’re running into. That way the WordPress community as a whole can address those well before the Classic Editor’s expiration date.

  The Block editor works with all the themes in our showcase, however, you select any of our latest themes that take advantage of all the features of the new editor.
