Gutenberg editor
-
I’m not sure this is the place to send my comment, but I’m unable to find other better one.
To say it right: please allow bloggers to chose between old/improved editor and the new Gutenberg.
I’ve been blogging since 2011 and I’ve always learned something new with the changes in the editor. But I guess there are many bloggers who have other interests besides blogging and they are slow to keep adapting. I understand that technology is quickly changing -and generally, to improve. But at this moment, at my sixties, I see that I am not able to adapt more than I do.
Besides my blog, I also have a website with a business partner about the books I publish. This site uses Gutenberg by default. Without help by the partner, I could not continue editing entries in the site: it’s too much difficult for me.
Please, allow to choose editor so that those who feel comfortable working with Gutenberg do so, and those who don’t feel this way, continue with the “old” editor.
Many thanks for attending my grumbles.

Hi,
I just wish to assure you that you’ll almost certainly be able to still use the Classic Editor in the future, even if you don’t prefer Gutenberg. See this message from this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/information-on-gutenberg-implementation/
The classic editor should also still be available, and it should be possible to edit a Gutenberg post in the classic editor, just like it currently is in Core, and will be via the Classic Editor plugin once Gutenberg becomes the default there.
You can disable Gutenberg on your Dashboard. If that isn’t showing, please tick the Gutenberg option in “Screen Options” on the top right.
You can also give your feedback regarding Gutenberg here: https://wordpressdotorg.polldaddy.com/s/gutenberg-support
Thank you. :)
