Gutenberg Help

  Hi,

  We have a problem with Gutenberg. We have been using it with no problems, and as of today, it has reverted back to the classic editor. We deactivated/reactivated the plugin, then deleted it and reinstalled. Still nothing, can you help? We’re stuck on the classic editor.

  Hi –

  Have there been any other changes made to the site recently. It’d be good to rule out any other theme or plugin conflicts.

  To test this you’d want to disable all the plugins on your site and then only reinstall Gutenberg to see if it will work.

  For the theme conflict, you’d want to install Gutenberg plugin on your site using a basic theme, like Twenty Seventeen. Using a plugin like Theme Switcha will help make that process a bit easier. https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-switcha/

  Hey Liz,

  No changes over the weekend. We already tried deactivating all the plugins and just seeing if the Gutenberg would work, but no luck.

  Do i deactivate Gutenburg and install theme-switcha instead?

  Sounds good. So I would use theme switcha plugin to change over to a default theme, like Twenty Seventeen, and then install Gutenberg again to see if it will work. Does that make sense?
