  Strange adverts have appeared on our blog pages that we didn’t put there. Can they be stopped?

  Please note, the free WordPress.com plan displays ads on your site. To remove them, you will need to upgrade to one of the Paid plans.

  If you’re referring to worcestercathedrallibrary.wordpress.com, then because that site is on the Free plan, we display advertisements. We try to make the ads discreet and to only run them in limited places.

  To entirely eliminate ads on your blog, you need to upgrade to one of our paid plans.
