Hacked?

  This is on behalf of a friend who is using a WP blog platform but on a hosted domain. She’s got a message on her home page saying:
  “haCked By r00t-x “
  If you go into each post the blog is still intact but the entire home page has gone and been replaced with this little message. Most irritating, but the fact that the main blog is still there does imply that she should be able to recover it somehow – but how? Anyone got any ideas?
