Hacked account – deleted blog

  Someone hacked into my account and deleted my entire blog. I need to undo this. Is there an archive? I really need this back. Please advise.

  The authors have deleted this blog.

  Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password

  Go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one

  Then note the security tips here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/

  i just changed my passwords and email one too. they were the same passwords and really just my luck. but it is two good years worth of memories and entries. i can’t let it get erased by some unknown loser.

  it is within 24 hrs of hacking and delete, i hope to retrieve everything back.

  Having the same password on both accounts is not wise. as you can now see. I don’t think the hacking was a matter of bad luck. If you aren’t cautious and do not follow security protocol then it’s closer to being a matter of time than it is to being a matter of bad luck. Please be paient while waiting for a Staff response.

  The blog wasn’t deleted too long ago, so I was able to recover it and restore it to your account.

  Make sure that you use strong passwords on both your WordPress.com account and your email address.

  Make sure your email password is even stronger than your WP.com password, because if you say “I forgot my password” and click to get a new one, that’s where it goes. Spammers know this.
