hacked site

hello, my WP teaching site has apparently beeb hacked by one of my students, just before class. (The activity tab shows changes made to the class page just before class) As all my students use the university wifi, would it be possible for WP to provide me / my university with the IP adress of the ‘hacker’?
    thanks and best wishes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi ckgmurray,

I notice your account owns several sites. Is facnotes.wordpress.com the one where changes have been made? If so, they were made through your user account (ckgmurray) but I’m unable to provide an IP address.

If there is a chance someone else has access to the login details for your WordPress.com account, please change the password straight away:

    Change or Reset Your Password

If you use shared computers at the university, I recommend making sure you are successfully logged out of WordPress.com before leaving that computer.

Two step authentication is a great way to increase the security of your account so I strongly recommend enabling that:

    Enable Two-Step Authentication

Be sure to print the backup codes and store those in a safe place as they can be used to login if your device or phone number is ever lost.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
