  Our website has been hacked and I cannot login to the WP Dashboard. Please help

  Hi there,

  I do not see any sites under your @macombparkdist WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

  Is it possible you created your site under a different login with us or are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

  Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

  I greatly appreciate you taking a closer look. I am trying to get in contact with our host company who developed the site but they went through a merger several years ago and their services have changed so I am not having a lot of luck with them right now.

  Update: The host site is working with another agency to hopefully rectify this issue. Fingers crossed

  Since your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org), there’s nothing we can do to help here. We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

  I’d recommend you keep in touch with your host to rectify this issue.
