hacked website

  I just got notice from google that my website has been hacked. They are telling me to look for compromised pages or files on my site. I have no idea how to do that. Any ideas?

  First things first…..was it an email you received from Google? Make sure that it is and it is not a trick to make you give them your info.

  or was it the big red page saying you have been hacked?, ex;

  for your benefit, i would certainly change your account login information and if that does not work definitely check your recent posts and files put on them to see if maybe something is amiss.
