Hacked WordPress.com account and hacked blogs

  I want to recover my hacked accounts at “Vanessa Spence”. Domain name purchased from WordPress but this has expired. Two other blogs on this account “vjspence.wordpress.com” and “2roads.wordpress.com”. Can access 2roads dashboard via my email address, but although “Vanessa Spence” and “vjspence.wordpress.com” appear on my Dashboard, when I click through they go to Japanese WordPress and appear as spam blogs about cancer.

  Hi 2roads,

  I’m not seeing any unusual activity on your blogs associated with the 2roads account on WordPress.com. Both are still listed under your account and should be accessible.

  If there is content on either you don’t recognize, you should immediately change your WordPress.com and email passwords, as it’s possible someone else has this information. If you used a simple password, it’s possible someone guessed it, or it could be that someone else has access to your email account. A third possibility is that you were using a shared computer at some point and did not log out before someone else used the machine. At any rate, changing your passwords now should remove anyone else’s access from here on out.

  Once you’ve done that, you can easily delete any content you don’t want, and continue from there.
