Hackers hacked everything

It was about two weeks ago, I had to check my e mail urgently. I had not access to internet from my iPhone. So I went to a public net cafe to receive an urgent e mail. That evening I realized that my e mail id was hacked, the password was changed, I hadn’t access to internet even(ip blocked or something like that). The wordpress account associated with that e mail id was also hacked. I don’t have any recovery email id associated with that id and I’ve forgot the security question too. Can I recover it or hack it back?

Here are a few guidelines for “hacked” sites
The only “hacked” sites I have seen here have been people getting the password somehow to a site so you do want to be careful how you log in and use a tough password.
You should also check to make sure that someone has not added a new user to your site. Problems have also happened when there was more than one Admin. and an Admin left on less than graceful terms.

There have also been a few Posts on “hacked” sites and it was because someone got the Post by Email address and using the Post by Email to send in new Posts, if you have Post by email you can regenerate the address for that feature.

It does not sound as though isadz is describing a hack of WordPress, but a hack of email that was then used to gain access to WordPress. Once the attacker has someone’s email they can look for emails from services like WordPress and then just request a password reset, using the hacked email to verify it.My advice to isadz would be to get access to your email first, contact your provider and tell them that you were hacked. Once you have this you will be able to show WordPress that you have access to the originally registered email – even if the hackers have changed it to something else.
WordPress.com are not just going to hand the blog over to you without proof that you were the owner. The easiest way to prove it would be to gain access to your email. Failing this you will need advice from staff as to what they would accept, I would not be surprised if it would be something expensive like a court order instructing them to assign the blog to you.
