Hacking and HTML Code added

My blog was hacked and html code was added which redirects my traffic
As a WordPress.com user I do not have access to this html code
This code is not visible on anything I have access to.
It was picked up by Google, I have no idea how many posts, etc have been effected
Am I on my own here?

I will flag this thread for Staff attention. Immediately change your password and make sure you choose a very strong one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password It’s possible your email account was hacked and that’s how this happened so chnage that password too.

Oh yes.
I believe a professional PR firm has done this, one of the Reputation Recovery firms. I saw them at the blog, soon were many visits from a very secretive IP in Miami. Showed up on my feedjit but nowhere else.
I am hoping this is illegal.
I feel like I have been doing hand to hand combat with them for many weeks as they have worked to bury my posts. -

It’s a Sunday, staffing levels are lower.
Can you link me to a Google search where you’re seeing this? If it’s in there, presumably it’s in the code of the blog itself. Should be visible via View Source.

And what makes you think your traffic is being redirected? I can go to your blog just fine and there’s not the slightest hesitation or redirection.

Also, if you do not wish to have foreign bits of code in your posts, you should stop copy/pasting articles. Not only is it illegal, but you have then no control over the code you’ve just put in your blog.

The code I am referring to is only visible when picked up by Google.
They are Awk Arrays and are used to give directionIt is my understanding according to WordPress that I do not have access to html code as a wordpress.com user. The code does not appear in anything that I have access too. If someone were to have accessed my blog would they have any more access than I do?
My blog is operating just fine. It is my google search ranking that is being effected.
And I have been contacted by WordPress this morning and hopefully we will get to the bottom of this

Ok, so please tell me exactly step-by-step how you are coming across this and what exactly “this” is, so that I can see what’s going on.
If you can provide screenshots by uploading them via Media -> Add New in your blog’s Dashboard, that would be great.

The problem is that this html code is not on my blog though I am going to try what you have just suggested to see if it shows there. It is nowhere that I am able to edit it.
The html code only shows up in Google search results also in Google News alerts which are sent to my email box.
As WordPress hosts quite a few hackers blogs I was able to learn about Awk Arrays and how hackers use them, not enough to figure this out.
