Hacking virus ?

  Have received word that WordPress is amongst other platforms being hacked, particularly if one’s profile name is “admin” and/or the password is numerically simple. Can you address this in a post ? I don’t believe my own site is at risk, but this might be an issue to address forth-right, so we can modify our data if necessary.

  This only involves self-hosted WordPress.org sites, not WordPress.com.
