Had my blog turned off

    Hi fellow bloggers.

I just had my blog at http://gregornot.wordpress.com/ turned off. I post Nuclear and Indigenous Issues. The last six weeks I have been covering the VP race, so folks could make an informed choice. I use 15-25 different sources for my material and ALWAYS give credit to the original story, except for the ones I write. I had 2915 hits yesterday. Today they turned me off . This is the reason they WP sent:

This blog has been deactivated because we believe it does not comply with the WordPress.com Terms of Service or advertising policy.

If your blog is designed to promote affiliate links, get rich quick programs, banner ads, consists solely or mostly of duplicate or automatically generated material, or is part of a search engine marketing campaign, WordPress.com is not the place for you. Occasionally we make mistakes. If you believe we have misclassified your blog, please click here to contact us as soon as possible so we can fix the problem.

THIS IS DEFINITELY A MISTAKE. It happened when I posted 50 of my best post from my old service, but it took 72 hours to fix. I have had almost a thousand folks visit my site today.

I have written and asked for a HUMAN review. I cover materials that are of interest to the Nuclear and Indigenous people of the world.

This is not right, but I guess for WP if your successful you are doing something wrong. I spend 12-18 hours a day working on building up my site. AND BAM, out of nowhere I get deactivated. I’m not a happy camper.

At least my ELECTION PICKS WON THE ELECTION,

    Please help.if you can,
    Kind,Regards,gregor

You got a human review; each of those reports is reviewed by a staff member. And decisions have been reversed upon review.

Now, here’s what you need to do: posting in the forums isn’t going to do you any good at all, because most of the helpers here are just volunteers. You need to contact staff via your Dashboard Support button or the link they gave you. Those contacts have priority.

I got the complaint, I checked it. For the person sending the complaint there is no mistake.
This has been dealt with – or is being dealt with – in Support.

To anyone else who has this happen to their blog – we have a VERY good reason and posting here does nothing. We will happily defend our actions here if you wish.

Just do as raincoaster says – get in touch and give us time enough to reply.
