Had to log in to post my blog

    Hi, I ad some blog posts scheduled to post on this past Monday and today (Wednesday). They were also supposed to post to my Facebook. However, when I logged in, they had not posted and my website was not functioning. Then, after a few minutes, they miraculously posted to both the site and my Facebook. What happened? I don’t have to log in on each day I post something, do I? Seems sort of counter-productive if I schedule a post at a certain time if I have to then log in at that time for it to post…

    Hi,

    No, I don’t believe you would have to log in on the day that a post is scheduled to be published in order for it to be published.

    A couple of questions:
    1. Is your timezone setting accurate?
    2. Did you log in near the time that the post was scheduled to be published? Perhaps it was delayed for some reason, and then was coincidentally published after you’d logged in. I would try it again. The delay might have been due to some temporary glitch.
