Half-screen view looks jumbled up

  • Unknown's avatar

When I need to see another website while writing a post, I need to resize the post window to take up half the screen. The result, everything on the post-editing screen jumbles up and makes it impossible to do anything. I was wondering if this was just me or if this is something WordPress needs to fix…?

Hi. In order to assist you, we need the URL of your blog, starting with http:// please. Thanks.

    http://hamrogeek.wordpress.com/

But it’s in the admin not on the actual website. The actual website looks fine.

Would you please share how are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com (DSL, mobile, satellite, etc)?

    Troubleshooting
Custom menu isn’t appearing! Go to the custom menu page in the dashboard Appearance > Menus and in the “Theme Location” module on the upper left select your custom menu from the pulldown and then click “save”.

Thank you so much, timethief. I like your smile but above all your assistance. Please, pardon my english writing.

I do not like to have the main menu below the heading or title of my blogs. I prefer to have in the side column. I will wait your answer to make the changes.

I detected that showing categories makes the menu at the side corrupted. I do not know if it is my screen resolution. I use 1024 x. My operating system is win xp pro.

The bottom adds shows now at the side. I do not know if it is because I unfixed some 5 regular posts. I had 10 fixed posts before and it worked well. I add two posts (I will not add anymore in the future) but one of them show erratically. I unfixed one but still the page does not show well. I do not uses pages, by the way. I need to read more about but the instructions are not so simple for me although I work as customer service agent for Microsoft here in Panama.

I am going to remove the categories to see what happens. But, of course, I will wait for your answer. I will leave the tags as before.

Best regards and keep smiling. Thanks and may God bless you,

    Carlos
