  I’ve got an unhosted blog running wordpress at bluehost (www.bookstoat.com). If I write a comment on a wordpress.com blog, clicking my name won’t link back to my blog. In the user profile there’s no option to change primary blog from dashboard.wordpress.com to my actual blog. I set ‘website’ to my blog’s address but the problem persists. Halp!

  do you have a wordpress.com account?
  if not
  you probably have to type your homepage address in, when you comment.

  you can get a wordpress.com account. and type your sites name in as the primary blog and in the “web page” slot of the new profile.

  If you then log in to wordpress.com, your linkback to your site will show up when you comment att a wordpress.com blog,… when moderated.
