HALP!!!
-
Hi everybody,
I need help! I usually do Dreamweaver-based web design and the company I work for just took on a client who needs maintenance on their WordPress website.
The other day they asked me to make a change to the footer of their website.
I can get into the WordPress admin page, and I found the home page, but when I go to edit it, the footer doesn’t show up. All I get is a blank page to “edit.”
So, my question is: where the heck do I find the footer to edit it? I tried searching the pages, I tried searching using FTP, I looked at the source code, but nothing helpful has shown up.
Thanks for any help! I’m tearing my hair out over here.

What is the address of the site? Is it hosted here at WordPress.com? It is possible that you may be asking in the wrong support forum.

I did figure out how to get to the ‘customize page’ window, which shows me all the elements so I can edit them.
But here’s the thing: I need to remove the street address from the footer at the bottom of the page. I can find a widget that’s called ‘Footer left’, but there’s no text in it. How can I find out where that ‘Contact Us’ text is, so I can edit it?
Thanks!

As your site is hosted at GoDaddy, not here at WordPress.com support comes by registering an account at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
