    Hello, I have recently been contacted by someone through my blog that is harassing a friend of mine. She is seeking restraining order against him. I would like to know what to do next.

    Hi there, can you clarify how you were contacted? You are referring to a comment on one of your blog posts or on the contact form of your site? Is there a place in the admin dashboard where we can see these contacts? Possibly the recent contact form entries here? https://aydansrecovery.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback

    If so you can mark those as “spam” which will help teach our spam filters to catch them. Also you can set up a blacklist in your comment settings here and these will apply to your contact for as well as the comments form on your blog posts: https://wordpress.com/support/discussion-settings/#comment-moderation

    You can add their name, email, and/or any words that they would use specifically but a normal person contacting you would have no reason to use. For immediate results I recommend setting up a blacklist as it will actively block future attempts at contacting you.
