harassment and stalking.. how do I stop this!?

Hey there,
I am having some SEVERE harassment problems, there is an internet “fan” of mine who started out sending me about five messages a week, and he was using my wordpress blog to send me his messages in the form of comments on my recipes.
As I mark everything for approval, his messages would go directly to my inbox where I could approve them or not.
After about two months of ignoring his semi frequent messages, he has gone berserk. I never read them any more, I get sick of reading things about being in love with me, to cryptic messages about celebrities and anime and random crap, to yelling “YOU’RE A WHORE” and “MARRY ME I WANT TO MARRY YOU”. I just delete them all and mark them as spam because no matter how much I try and follow the wordpress instructions to block an email address/person from contacting me, IT NEVER WORKS.
I am at my wits end, this morning I received about sixty or eighty messages from 11pm last night until 11am this morning. I am appalled. I took a screenshot of everything in case you need proof of this ridiculous situation.
Please, for the love of God, tell me how to permanently block this person. I am so sick of it.

If this person is using the same name or email address, just add them to your blacklist (not the moderation list) at Settings -> Discussion in your Dashboard.
The comments will be immediately send to the spam folder, and you’ll never have to see them.
