Hard to go from wordpress to website?
-
I’ve just started with wordpress. I’ve been hoping that in the future, this will turn into a website. Will that be a difficult thing to do? Or, do I get a web designer? Not sure how that works and if I can transfer my blogs to my website. Any help appreciated.

Actually you will make more money if people that don’t know what they are doing mess up their web site because “WordPress is so easy for CMS” – that when they get themselves dug into a big hole because you will get paid to undo what they did then do what should have been done in the first place.

WordPress software is just a tool and no tool will dig you out from a bad design – might make it easier but the design still has to be fixed first. I have some legacy stuff from when I was just messing around and now some of them are enshrined in the search engines and I am reluctant to change the bad parts and break links, and since we can’t use httaccess here I can’t redirect single pages, the ugly stuff will remain for a while.
