    Hi,
    I don’t want to renew the domain name hardballcore.com, but I was wondering if hardballcore.wordpress.com will still be available with all my articles on it? That way, I don’t have to rush to save my articles before hardballcore.com expires.

    The answer is yes. After domain mapping is removed the same content will be at the .wordpress.com URL. But here’s something to consider. Removing a domain URL means every domain URL when clicked anywhere on the internet and in search engine results will not link to the content. It will produce a 404 page not found message. And, it will take several weeks or even up to 3 or 4 months for Google to reindex the site.
