[HARMONIC] Issue in the footer navigation

    I installed the theme HARMONIC but are not visible items footer navigation.
    If step above is a link and it is working well, but the items are not visible.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    There are a couple of things you need to do to finish setting up your site and have the footer links show up:

    First, you’ll need to select a page on which to display your posts:

    To set up a posts page, create a placeholder page called Blog, for example. Then select it under Appearance > Customizer > Front.

    Next, make sure to add some content to the different parts of your site that get pulled into the front page, namely:

    – add at least one post
    – add at least one project under Portfolios > Add New
    – add a site logo under Appearance > Customizer > Site Title

    If you’d rather not display the front section, posts section, or portfolio section on the homepage, you can hide them via Appearance > Customizer > Theme > Visbility.

    Yeahh … everything you see as I wanted. I followed all your steps.
    Already inserting the logo footer menu items are displayed.
    As well as the menu item blog.

    Hi Kathryn,

    I’m also testing out Harmonic and have not been able to figure out a few issues. I’ve backed up my blog (which has a few hundred posts) to a new folder and applied Harmonic here: http://2015blog.mikeklassen.net/

    With regards to the footer it looks fine on most of my blog—i.e. on pages and posts. See this post and the footer menu bar is aligned to the bottom of the page. http://2015blog.mikeklassen.net/2014/11/five-things-we-can-expect-from-visions-third-term/

    HOWEVER, when you open a Category or a Tag page the footer menu is floating near the top of the page. See: http://2015blog.mikeklassen.net/category/soapbox/

    I’ve tried to edit the CSS to no avail.

    ALSO…

    In the Harmonic demo (https://harmonicdemo.wordpress.com/blog/) there are social icons for Facebook, Twitter & Instagram in the header. As well the name “Harmonic” is aligned to the left with the menu items on the right. How can I achieve this same appearance with my blog name on the left with the icons? Are there more (i.e. LinkedIn, YouTube, etc) available too?

    Hi Mike, the footer in Harmonic should be in a fixed position, and the site title should be on the left, so things do look a bit wonky on your site at the moment, which may have happened if you’ve modified the theme files or added new CSS, or there might be a conflict with a plugin you’re running.

    The best place to troubleshoot this with you is over in the WordPress.org forum, since your site is self-hosted, and these forums are for folks hosted here on WordPress.com.

    Harmonic is still being reviewed for inclusion in the WordPress.org directory – once it’s approved its dedicated support forum will live here:

    Thanks! I read elsewhere about where to post my question. I’ve set up a .org account and will direct my question there.

    Btw, I’ve not altered the templates and have turned off all plug-ins with the same issue. I’ll see what the response is over at .org.
