Harmonic – Subscribe Missing on Phone Browser

    Newer to wordpress. Is there a way to get my Subscribe to widget to show on a phone browser with the Harmonic theme, absent using the dumbed down mobile theme which looks rough?

    Exactly which phone are you referring to please?

    The mobile theme is a completely different theme and when using a responsive layout theme we disable the mobile theme at > Appearance > Mobile

    If the theme is a responsive layout theme then it adapts to different screen sizes so that your website will work (and be optimized for) iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

    Iphone 4s browsing with Safari.

    I’m aware the mobile is different and makes if viewable. The non-mobile responsive simply omits the subscribe option. My old theme showed it on the bottom in the iphone Safari view but this theme it is not on the bottom, side, or menus.

    Hi there – the widget areas in Harmonic are not displayed at small screen sizes. This is an aesthetic decision made by the developer to keep the site clean and minimal on devices such as phones, but if you prefer to keep widgets visible at those smaller sizes, a different theme may be a better fit for your needs.
