Harmonic Theme Bugs?

    Hello,

    I’m using the wordpress hosted site with Harmonic, with a likely migration over to our own site domain soon once we find the look and feel we prefer.

    We love Harmonic but are having problems with
    1) When scrolling text down, the bottom and top menus seem to pop in and out causing the scroll to seemingly jump.
    2) On the home page, the bottom text doesn’t fully show because the page won’t scroll further.
    3) On pages, it seems embedded pictures do not justify properly with text. We can add a gallery instead, but inline pictures was preferred.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    I might be able to help with the first problem as I had a similar issue.

    The menus disappeared as you scrolled down, but then reappear and, at the same time, jump down further than they should do. I added the following to my custom CSS and they stayed in place.

    #masthead {
    	position: fixed;
    }

    Sorry, for the double post (can you edit forum posts?) that code I posted is for the top menu only, I think this should work for the bottom one:
    `#footer-nav-wrapper {
    position: fixed;
    }’

    My top menu now sits at the top of the screen when I view the main page with Harmonic, so there is a black wodge at the top of the screen and less space for text and images, which I find ugly and unnecessary. It was not doing that when I adopted the theme, but I cannot think what I did, if anything, to make that happen. Can I stop it happening? I do not have access to CSS.
