Harmonic theme: can I change the link default color on HOME PAGE only?

    with harmonic theme, my static home page has dark background.. so the text is nicely turned white automatically.

    however .. the links are all a (yucky) dark-blue color.

    Can I override the default link-color for JUST the static home page and not every page on the site?

    Hi Joe,

    It is possible to change the colour of the links on your home page with some custom CSS.

    If you’re not familiar with CSS, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to change the appearance of websites. Here at WordPress.com, it’s possible to add custom CSS to change certain parts of your theme’s design.

    To add CSS, firstly navigate to go to My Sites in the top left of WordPress.com then choose the option to Customize in the left sidebar. You’ll reach what’s known as the WordPress.com Customizer:

    From here, click on the CSS tab. Below the introductory text in the resulting editor, copy and paste the following CSS:

    .home a {
    color: #663399;
}

    The above will change the default colour of the links on your home page to #663399.

    Change the value of #663399 to any HEX code of your choice. If you’d like to experiment with different colours, try a few Google searches to get a list of HEX codes and their corresponding values.

    Here’s an example of a site that I’ve used before:

    I’ve found a couple of useful bit of css here, but what I would like to do is change the colour of links sitewide, but not in the navigation. Is there a way to set link colour in navigation similar to this so that I can then change all the other links site wide?

    I found this one which changes colour in the content area and not the nav, but only changes it in the content area of the home page, not other pages.

    .site-content a:visited, .site-content a:active, .site-content a:focus {
    color: #822432 !important;
