Harmonic Theme: Changing the image for the News

I’m using the Harmonic theme, I can’t seem to change the background of News on the front page. I would like to replace the picture of the grey boat with my own image.
The option to edit the News Section supposed to be found in the Theme option, but it’s not showing up in my Customizer. Could it be because there is a conflict in the configuration…like would I need to activate the option to edit the news section?

Your News section, titled “Latest,” presently has the background image https://openwatersplay.files.wordpress.com/2016/10/20161006_164006.jpg set, rather than a picture of a grey boat. Have you resolved the issue?
