Harmonic theme issues

Hello,
I am building a site with the Harmonic theme but I have some issues:
1- Front Page Portfolio doesn’t display
2- When I create a new page, select the Portfolio template and add the images, it creates a gallery. But when I click on the single picture, it opens a gallery instead of displaying the image on a new page as shown in the demo ‘The single view for each portfolio item is wider than regular posts, allowing you to really show off your amazing images’
3- I cannot change the Portfolio thumbnails (landscape, portrait, 1:1 doesn’t apply)
4- the background color changes by itself
Please help, I am crashing my head on this issues ! -
UPDATE:
1 – I figured out the Front Page Portfolio: I created a Portfolio from the menu, and NOT from the Page Template; then I assigned a featured image to it and I got the Thumbnail on the Front Page section.
So I assume that Portfolios created with the Page Template are not visible on the Front Page!Please help with issue 2 specially!!

Hi @elgatoproductions, this can feel a bit tricky, but here’s the gist:
– You can create individual portfolio projects from the menu
– Those portfolio projects can then be displayed on a few different types of pages
I’m guessing you had a page set up with the Portfolio template, which would display your projects like this:
https://harmonicdemo.wordpress.com/media/It may help to think of the page as the wall for your art, with page templates being different ways to arrange the art. Does that help? Your front page will display some of your portfolio projects.

Hi @Velda, thanx for your reply.
Actually when I set the Portfolio Template from the Page, I don’t get the media to be desplayed like in the Theme demo
but I get a gallery in which I can choose how to put the images (square, circle grid etc); the same if I create a Portfolio from the menu.
But this is fine by me; what I would really want is the single items from the grid to be displayed in single view, and not in a slide show. How to do that? -
