Hi, it’s showing up fine for me, is it still not working for you?
If you’re still having problems could you provide a screenshot and let us know what device and browser versions you’re experiencing problems on.
-
For the mobile device where you don’t see the site title, could you please let me know:
– phone or tablet model
– OS version
– browser name & versionThanks!
-
-
Thanks for the information. I’m not sure that’s a device we can easily test with, but we’ll keep you posted if we can find a fix.
In the meantime, would it be possible to upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting?
You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so wecan see it. Thanks.
-
Do you have the same issue with the missing site title in Opera Mobile Classic edition or running regular Opera? It would be helpful to know if the issue is isolated to one browser.
-
Yes the problem was with the browser and now its fixed. Thanx and currently i’m using iTheme 2 so that images do not cut off for larger resolutions :)

Could you please upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting. Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot, if you’re not sure: http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.
Let me know where the screenshot was taken:
– what device
– what OS
– what browser and versionIf you’re not sure, visit http://supportdetails.com/ on the device you’re taking the screenshot on.

thanks for your response!
I have a Windows and a Mac, and also ipad and iphone. They all show up the same. The browsers I used to open the page are firefox, chrome, safari and IE. ( all the recent versions I assume..)I’m not sure if what you saw was the title or the tagline, because from my side the tagline shows, but not the title (that is supposed to be in a square frame right?)
you can see the screenshot here (this one is done with firefox):

the title (that is supposed to be in a square frame right?)
The word “Harmonic” in the white rectangle on the demo site is actually not the Site Title that you entered under Settings > General, it’s Site Logo image.
You can upload a Site Logo graphic under Appearance > Customize > Site Title, in the Site Logo area. If you want your site to look like the Harmonic demo, you can create an image that includes your site title using a graphics program.
Let me know if you need further help!

And thats why i haven’t closed this topic because i was sure same problem will be faced by some more users. And What if we don’t upload site logo?
-
If you choose not to upload a site logo, then your site title will be displayed in the upper left corner on all devices – it’s up to you.
-
If site title is in upper left corner then why we can’t see the title on mobile device and opera browser?

If site title is in upper left corner then why we can’t see the title on mobile device and opera browser?
All major mobile devices and browsers we have tested – including Safari and Chrome on iPhones, Android phones, and iPads – do display the site title correctly in the upper left corner.
Yours is actually the only report we’ve had of the site title not displaying in the upper left corner. :-) (The other user in this thread mistook the site logo in the middle of the page for the site title.)
Unfortunately Opera Mini is not a robust browser and may not support the JavaScript in Harmonic.
Earlier you had mentioned “Yes the problem was with the browser and now its fixed.” This led me to believe you were no longer experiencing any issues. Is the problem still persisting?
I had also asked you some follow-up questions but I don’t think you answered them, and since you said the issue was fixed, we did not pursue it further.
Could you please:
– upload a screenshot to help in troubleshooting. You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or PDF – in your Media Library so we can see it.
– let us know if you have the same issue with the missing site title in Opera Mobile Classic edition or running the regular Opera browser? It would be helpful to know if the issue is isolated to one browser.
Thanks.

Why the “Site Logo” feature is not available for this theme when installed in other servers?

The Site Logo feature will be available soon for self-hosted sites through Jetpack. It’s available now in the beta version of 3.2.

Harmonic tag line not displaying even though the tag line is not hidden.
I’m using a MacBook Pro and Chrome. I recently switched themes to the new Harmonic theme and seem to have lost my tagline even though it is listed and the tag line is not hidden. I took a screenshot but don’t see where I can upload it to show you.
Here’s my site: http://katlehman.net

Harmonic tag line not displaying – take two.
I just wanted to report that I also checked this in Safari and have the same issue. I’ve uploaded the screen shot to my media library where you can see that the “hide tag line” box is not checked but it is clearly not displaying. Many thanks for looking at this!
