Harmonic Theme: Portfolio Image Layering Bug

I’ve recently converted my site to the Harmonic theme, and while I like it in general I’ve encountered an issue with the portfolio feature, I don’t know whether other people have had it.

On a large-screen monitor (resolution 1900 width) there is a serious layering issue with images that are less than full width:

It only seems to crop up on the largest resolution, so I’m guessing there’s something wrong with the styles for that particular media query?

Any way to fix it? I can probably figure out a way to override it by attaching a style to all the images for the large resolution, but that’s really a last resort.

With one zoom click out (Firefox) on a 12″ X 9″ monitor, resolution 1024 X 768 pixels, I was able to demonstrate an overlapping of the two images, which display normally at the default zoom setting, on the page given above. This suggests that the problem may affect smaller screens than you indicated.

I’ll tag the topic for staff attention.

Hi there, a Portfolio Project typically consists of a single image, which is not inserted into the body of the Project, but is instead set as a Featured image. To see all of your Portfolio Projects, you can view the dynamically created Portfolio page, which would be created at http://envisualist.com/portfolio/

If you haven’t already, I would suggest reading through our Portfolio Support page on how to set up and use the Portfolio feature.

Thanks for the link, thesacredpath. It’s not that I am trying to put all of my projects into one portfolio page, though. I am trying to group all parts of a single extended project or a series into one page – generally having a multi-faceted project like that will happen a lot in a commercial art scenario, like in book illustration or extensive graphic design projects, and it makes no sense to split them up in this situation as clients want to see every piece of one project in one go.

But either way, even if the body of the portfolio is not meant to be used in this way, the layering thing is obviously a glitch because it’s only present in some resolutions and not others.

I see. We can fix that Personal Art: Flux page pretty easily. Open that page in the editor and click on each of the images in turn, click the edit button and set them to center alignment. Images set other than center or none alignment get different positioning in Harmonic. If you set them to center.

Next, switch to the Text tag in the edit and add style=”margin-left: 0;” right after the opening <img in each of the image codes so they look like this
    <img style="margin-left: 0;"
