harmonic theme – post page missing sliding image w/ [Read more] button

    I am setting up self hosted site using the harmonic theme.

    If I insert a page and select a featured image (then publish); that image appears when you select the page from the primary menu with the button [Read more] on the bottom left. The people I am doing this website for like this behaviour.

    If you create a new page and identify it as the “Posts page” in the “Static Front Page” section of the theme customiser, the page appears with a truncated version of the image and the button is not present.

    Is it possible to get a post page where it behaves the same as a normal page — at least at the start?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
