Harmonic theme problem!

Hi I am having a problem with my harmonic theme. I am just new to this. I figured out how to get a static home page – however, in the preview mode it looks very different to the full screen view mode… I love the way it looks in the preview. For example, on the front static page where I have 4 photos that are scrolled through, in the preview mode I see the entire photo before the next photo enters the screen….but in the full screen published view – I only see parts of each photo – they have been cropped and that is not how I wanted it. Can you please tell me how to fix this? I am not sure why the preview is showing something different, but it’s perfect on that mode. Thank you!
