has domain name been released

    hiya,

    recently I bought a domain name on here, but then realised that I had chosen the wrong website as my skill in website making is pretty bad. So I refunded the domain name.
    Of course I understood that someone might claim the domain name before I could reuse it, but that would be unlikely as it’s a random obscure name. It isn’t available to rebuy however after over a week. Not too fussed, but just wanted to know if it just hasn’t been released by wordpress yet, before I go off and buy a different domain.
    Domain is (my username).com.
    Any way for the staff to check if it’s been released or not by wordpress?

    The domain is no longer with WordPress.com. It may be available with another registrar.
