  someone else posted an article in my blog. I was of the impression that my pasword was needed to log on and post. Has my site been hacked? How do I keep this from happening again?

  Are you referring to the “Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work” post?

  If so, this was posted using your account, so you might want to change both your WordPress.com password and email password (as email can be used to reset your WordPress.com password).
