Has my blog been hijacked?
-
When I log in, it says I have not started any blogs, but I know I started the below blog–
http://squirreloftheweek.wordpress.com/
–a while ago. When I tried creating a new blog and giving it the above name, it says that name has been taken.
Has my blog been taken over by someone else?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The login link is http://squirreloftheweek.wordpress.com/wp-admin
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Thank you for your efforts on my behalf.
I cleared my cache to no effect. I can log-in, but it insists that I have no blogs even though I have the activation email. I guess this means I should try account recovery.

HI Steve,
Please note that the site: squirreloftheweek.wordpress.com in located in another account – not under the one with the username: squirreloftheweek.
The account with the username squirreloftheweek is empty.
If you created the site in the other account please log into that account. If you know the current password for your account, you can change it by following these instructions below:
You can also change your password from the Settings tab on the WordPress.com home page:
https://wordpress.com/#!/settings/
If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password by entering your email address here:
http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive an email during the reset process, so please make sure you read it for instructions. If you don’t receive the email right away, check your spam folder as well because the confirmation email can end up there.
Once you’ve reset your account password, you can see our suggestions for choosing a strong password here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/
Cheers!

Hi Grace!
You hit upon it–I have two different accounts (attached to different email accounts), probably created long before I understood what I was doing, which is, apparently, today.
Thank you, and timethief for the help and best of luck with your pup!
